Kind words

So I haven't been online for a few days....and low and behold....I do get responses to my random thoughts. Thank you so much for your kind words. I have never been good at journalling, but everyone keeps telling me it is worth a try. I have been reading a lot of other peoples' blogs and thoughts and my life appears plain boring. I go to work every morning, with the good intentions of changing the world and making it a better place, just to come home at night to realize that changing the world is too much of a task for little ol'e me. So I watch some tv and am amazed at what people will do just to end up on television. Then I go to bed and start all over the next morning. Not a bad life, I guess, but uneventful, for sure. Some time ago I had put it in my mind to check out the dating scene again.....oh well....that did not turn out to be such a good idea. So here I am....typing away and admiring you all with exciting lives. I have to admit, I do get to travel quite a bit for business, which always is a nice change. I have travelled pretty much all over the world, with China being my latest hotspot for unexpected trips. I do enjoy travelling in style and luxury, but other than that I am quite a homebody.
I am already in the process of planning Thanksgiving dinner, though. My children usually make it a nice family event and I am very grateful for them to include their old mother in their plans. I will keep you posted on that front as the plans evolve. What are your all plans for the big turkey day? Do you usually stay home or do you leave the house to celebrate somewhere else? Or do you even celebrate the event at all?

Not always easy

Not always easy to share so much about your life whenever you create a page for others to view, how much is too much info? How much does one feel comfortable sharing? What will others think about you. As a woman I can tell you I have spend many restless nights staring up at the ceiling as I lay in bed, wonder just what others will think of me. Now...thanks to this page...I can be myself and yet...just maybe...have enough secrets. I love how inspirational some other lives are and I long to be just as inspirational to my family, friends...and fellow bloggers. Until tomorrow my sweet...sweet readers.

New to blogging

Hello. I am new to blogging and thought I would give it a try. This seems like a lot of fun. I was inspired by the Twix commercial.."I thought you were a believer"...hehehe.
